On this page: how to enter a dungeon, the dungeon finder (F), your party (H), Normal and Heroic, the “pick 1 of 3” chest and dungeon quests.
Dungeons are the star content of the game. Each has its own theme, four floors with a champion on every floor and a final boss whose attacks the game warns you about on the ground. There are 22: 17 story ones and 5 hidden ones, from Aludra’s Warren (level 8) to the Abyss of Zulmagor (level 90).
Every party plays in its own copy: nobody else enters your dungeon.
How to get in
To enter you need two things:
- The dungeon’s minimum level.
- Access: almost always a quest that opens it (for example, Lady Aludra’s lockpick for the Warren). For some, a key sold by an NPC also works. Keys are not used up.
Then you step on the entrance portal on the map. You can go alone or with your party: the health of the champions and the boss adjusts to how many you are (up to 4 players; the Abyss of Zulmagor is a raid of up to 10).
If something is missing, the finder tells you the reason (“you need level 90”, “get it with quest L07…”).
The dungeon finder (F key)
Press F. It works like WoW’s group finder.
- On the left you see the list of dungeons with their levels (Normal and Heroic), whether you have access, how many
free copies there are, the queue and how many players are looking for a group. The star
*marks the Dungeon of the day. - On the right you see the boss, the levels, the party size and how many times you have completed it.
- Below you choose the difficulty (Normal or Heroic) and, if you want, your role: Tank, Damage or Support. The game suggests one based on your subclass.
You have three buttons:
| Button | What it does |
|---|---|
| Enter | If you are alone, takes you straight to the dungeon entrance. |
| Enter with my party | If you are the leader, every member gets a prompt and those who accept go in together. |
| Find group | Matches you with other players looking for the same dungeon and difficulty. |
When a group is formed: everyone gets “Group found: Enter?” with the list of teammates and their roles, and has 30 seconds to accept. If everyone accepts, you travel together and enter. If someone declines or does not answer, they leave the search and the others go back to the queue keeping their place. If all 3 copies are busy, your party waits at the entrance, in the queue. When one frees up, you have 60 seconds to step on the portal.
Your party (H key)
Press H to open the Party window.
- Invite: type the player’s name and press Invite (or the add member icon at the top), or right-click a player and choose “Invite to party”.
- The other player gets a prompt at the top center: Accept or Decline.
- Every member shows their portrait, level, vocation, role, live health and mana bars and a status dot (green online, yellow far from the leader, blue in a dungeon). The leader wears a crown and a bag shows who gets the next loot.
- The leader can pass leadership, kick someone or Disband the party (two clicks: it asks for confirmation).
- Party frames: on the left of the screen you see a small column with each teammate’s health.
Party rules (top of the window; only the leader changes them):
| Rule | Options |
|---|---|
| Mode | Common (invitation only) or Open (listed in the finder F, under “Teams looking for players”, and others ask to join) |
| Loot | Shared (anyone in the party loots any party corpse), Killer takes it (each corpse belongs to whoever dealt the most damage) or Round robin (each corpse goes to the next member nearby, and the ranked item rolls for their vocation) |
| Experience | Shared or Individual (the classic rule: it splits if everyone is at least 2/3 of the highest level, is nearby and fought in the last minute, with a bonus for different vocations) |
| Tasks | Shared (hunting quest kills count for everyone within 30 tiles) or Individual |
| Team | Size (2 to 10) and minimum and maximum level |
Without a party the window shows Create a team: pick the size, the levels (it warns you if shared experience will not split with that range), loot, experience and whether to list it in the finder.
Statistics (bars icon): damage, healing, gold, items (with their rank) and kills of each member in the session, with the total and the per-hour rate. History (clock icon): who joined, who left, what changed and who looted what.
Loot with the E key
Press E next to corpses: everything on the 8 tiles around you goes to your backpack. The bottom center shows what you got, with its icon (“+72 Gold, +1 Watchtower Greaves (B)”). It only loots your corpses or your party’s (following the loot rule). If your backpack is full or you have no capacity, it tells you how many items stayed in the corpse. With Shift + E you turn on auto-loot on kill and choose “Everything” or “Only gold and ranked items”. The key can be changed in Options > Controls.
Normal and Heroic
| Normal | Heroic | |
|---|---|---|
| For whom | Your entry level | Higher level players who already cleared the Normal |
| Monsters | Base health and damage | Health x1.5 and damage x1.25 |
| Boss | Base health | Health x1.6 |
| Elites | The usual ones | One more per floor |
| Reward | Rank B pieces | Rank A pieces and sets |
You pick the difficulty in the finder (or with !mazmorra heroica and !mazmorra normal). The Warren on Normal is a
short version: two floors and the boss lair.
Heroic opens once you clear the Normal (in the Warren also with quest ALU4). The first time you kill the Normal boss the
game tells you: “Heroic unlocked”. The finder (F) and !mazmorra show whether you have it.
What happens inside
- On every floor you kill the theme’s monsters, the elites and the floor champion, who has a name of its own.
- Killing the champion breaks the seal on the way down and a portal to the next floor appears.
- On floor 4 is the final boss. Its strong attacks are warned on screen and with marks on the ground: learn to step out in time.
- Inside you see a box with the floor, the time, the Essence and the party.
Essence is a dungeon currency: you earn it by fighting and it is used at the Altar (see Economy). What you earn inside stays unsecured until you leave through the portal.
If you die inside: you lose no experience or level, but you lose what you had not secured (Essence and loot found), you go back to the temple and your teammates carry on without you.
If you disconnect (internet drops or you quit) you have 5 minutes to come back: you appear on the same floor and spot, with your Essence, your loot and your party. The run keeps going (it does not pause) and you are not healed. If you were fighting when you left (you hit or were hit in the last 10 seconds), it counts as before: you leave the run and lose what you had not secured. If you come back late or the run is over, you appear in the temple.
The final chest: pick 1 of 3
When you beat the boss a golden chest appears next to it. Everyone who took part can use it.
- Click the chest. A window opens.
- On top you see what you receive: experience and gold.
- Below you see three items built for your vocation and subclass, with their rank, name, level and attributes.
- Pick one. It goes to your backpack secured.
Good things to know:
- They do not repeat: what you picked will not appear again in that dungeon and difficulty. So running it again always offers you something new.
- Sometimes one of the three is a dungeon’s featured legendary.
- Heroic has its own table, better than Normal.
- If you have already picked everything the dungeon offers, the chest gives you extra gold and Altar materials.
- If you leave through the portal without choosing, you get option 1. If the window does not open, use
!recompensa 1,2or3.
The Dungeon of the day
Every day the game picks a different dungeon, the same for everyone. The first time you finish it that day you get
Essence x2 and gold x2, and there is a ranking with the 10 best times. It is never the Abyss of Zulmagor. You see
it marked with * in the finder.
Dungeon quests
Today quests open dungeons for you (they give you access) and some ask you to finish one. The main story and the House chains lead you through the dungeons in level order.
In the works: quests completed inside the dungeon, with objectives of their own.
More data: Dungeons (table of all 22 and each one’s sheet), Dungeon reward and The classic Rift, a separate mode of short runs (all in Spanish).
