These terms are the rules for using the website and playing the Rift Delve beta. By joining the waitlist or creating an account, you accept them.
The beta
- The beta is free and nothing is sold, in or out of the game.
- It is a work in progress: expect bugs, downtime, balance changes and resets of characters and items.
- When the beta ends you keep your account, account cosmetics (such as Founder and referral rewards) and titles. Characters and items may start over.
Your account
- One person, one account for the beta. Keep your password safe: nobody from the team will ever ask for it.
- Minimum age: 13. [To be confirmed with our lawyer.]
- You can delete your account at any time.
Items and in-game currency
Items, gold and Essence are part of the game. They are not the player’s property, have no monetary value and cannot be sold for real money. Trading them for real money outside the game is forbidden.
Code of conduct
It is forbidden to use programs that play for you (bots), cheats or exploits on purpose; to insult, harass or discriminate against others; to impersonate the team; or to try to access other people’s accounts or attack the servers.
If you find a bug, report it instead of using it. Breaking these rules may lead to a warning, a suspension or account closure. PvP rules have their own page.
Recordings
We may record matches and server moments (for example, the first boss defeated) for clips and news. You can opt out in the settings or by writing to us.
Content creators
You can record, stream and monetize your Rift Delve videos.
Liability
The game is provided “as is” during the beta. We do our best to keep it running, but we cannot guarantee there will be no failures or progress loss.
Changes
